Send me an email with a project brief. We can chat a bit and once I understand your project and what your project needs, I can give you a price and a timeline.

Once we agree on that, we can start Stage One.

45% of total price is due at this stage to cover the time I will spend developing concepts and thumbnails.
Once payment is received, I’ll create 4-6 thumbnail sketches to show concepts and composition.
This is also the time to send me your movie and any accompanying assets (film pulls, unit, special shoot, etc.)

Once we settle on a concept, a more detailed drawing is done with type layout included. Illustration and type are agreed on in this phase; once I start painting a final poster, it’s hard to change course.

This is my hermit stage where I go into my lair and come back with a poster.
It takes a few days and you won’t hear from me much.

I’ll be back with a finished poster exactly on whatever time we agreed on, but if you have any questions before then please reach out.

At the end of the project, you get one day to knock out any edits, alts, and whatever breakouts you need to successfully market your movie.

Larger redraws or adjustments that will take me longer than one full workday will be billed at $75 an hour.

Yay, it’s done! At this point the remaining payment is due.

Once that is received, an RGB layered PSD and flattened .tifs (or whatever files you prefer) are delivered in whichever way you prefer (I like Dropbox).

After this point, I am available for further edits, alts, or breakouts as you may need.
They’ll be billed at $75 an hour.

I will watch the heck out of your movie once I’m on the clock, but not before.

I don’t need assets to create an illustrated painting from, but they help.
Film pulls, unit photography, or special shoot are all welcome.
Lack of assets will not impact the final quality of the illustration, but it is easier to develop multiple strong concepts with more pieces to play with. Please provide whatever you have.

An illustrated poster will take me anywhere from 4-7 workdays start to finish.
Rush jobs are possible, but not every illustration style can be rushed.
